The ASM SIPLACE TX2 is the dual-gantry model in the SIPLACE TX platform for factories that need higher machine-level output without moving away from the compact TX architecture. ASMPT currently lists the TX2 at up to 85,500 CPH with 25 µm standard accuracy, up to 80 positions for 8 mm tape feeders, and the flexible PCB transport system used across the TX family. In the used-equipment market, the complete machine designation should be verified carefully because the TX2 and TX2i have different published performance ratings.

Two placement-head positions give the TX2 more room to balance throughput and component range than a single-gantry TX1. CP20 heads favor high-speed placement of small standard parts, while CPP and TWIN heads support more flexible, large, or special-component work. The production capability of an individual TX2 therefore depends on the heads actually installed and the way placement work is distributed across the PCB program.
