This SMT Splice Trolley is a mobile line-side workstation for carrier-tape splicing, keeping splice tools, cutters, tapes, accessories and waste collection together at the point of use. Its role is workflow organization: operators can prepare and complete reel-splicing tasks beside the feeder bank instead of repeatedly returning to a separate material-preparation station.
The trolley layout can be configured around the actual splicing process. Tool holders, tape storage, material boxes, reel support and waste collection can be arranged according to the splice tool being used and the common carrier-tape widths handled on the line. For factories using several tape formats, adjustable storage makes it easier to separate consumables and keep the correct splice materials visible during reel changes.
This product should be selected when the requirement is a dedicated mobile splicing station. If the main requirement is feeder storage and offline kitting rather than tape splicing, use the feeder storage and kitting cart instead. If the trolley must dock directly with a SIPLACE machine, a machine-specific SIPLACE X-Series changeover trolley is a different product category.
For line-side use, the most useful configuration points are the splice-tool mounting method, working height, storage layout, ESD requirement, caster arrangement and waste handling. These should be confirmed around the factory SOP rather than assuming that one fixed cart layout fits every production line.
