ASM SIPLACE drive is not one interchangeable spare-part family. Depending on the machine and installed assembly, the requirement may be a placement-head DP drive, a Z-axis motor, a geared motor, a feeder drive or another motion component. For purchasing, the exact part number and installed position are more useful than a broad description such as SIPLACE drive or SMT motor.
Do not select a replacement from the function name alone. Parts used in the same head or motion system can have different P/Ns, revisions and mechanical roles. For example, the 03058627 C&P20A DP drive belongs to the head's DP mechanism, while the 03058631 C&P20A Z-drive is a different head drive assembly. Similar naming does not make the two parts interchangeable.
When the machine reports an axis, head-movement or drive-related fault, the motor or drive should not automatically be treated as the failed component. Cable and connector condition, encoder or sensor feedback, mechanical resistance, belt or gear loading and the installed drive path should be checked before a replacement is approved. The most useful first evidence is usually the original label, the machine or head model, the installation position and the actual alarm or movement symptom.

Include the full P/N and suffix, machine model, head or feeder type where relevant, installation position, connector photos and the alarm or fault symptom. This allows the requirement to be classified as a motor, DP drive, Z-drive or related motion component before quotation.
