As carrier tape feeds through, the internal sensor detects splice points and transmits signals to the mounter. The machine responds to skip the joint before it arrives at the pickup location.
16mm carrier tape holds medium SMD components. Tape drive maintains steady tension through extended runs. Contactless power and data connections support feeder exchange while production continues. Unique feeder ID stores operational data for batch trace review.
