The Siemens SIPLACE F5 HM stands out for its combination of high-speed Collect & Place and precision Pick & Place technology on a single gantry. The 12-nozzle head handles smaller components at benchmark rates of up to 11,000 components per hour, while the separate Pick & Place head handles larger packages, fine-pitch devices and odd-shaped parts. This division of work lets the machine process different component classes without relying on one placement method for every part.
The F5 HM can also be configured with a six-nozzle Collect & Place head for larger components, or optional vision packages for flip-chip and bare-die placement. Its actual component range and accuracy depend on the fitted head and vision configuration, so these details are particularly important when evaluating a used machine.
