Heller 589010 HC2 Controller Board for Reflow Oven

Heller 589010 HC2 controller board for reflow ovens. Avoid the incorrect ASM DEK identity; match the oven and board revision so control faults do not prolong line downtime.

Heller 589010 is an HC2 controller board for Heller reflow-oven control systems, not an ASM DEK printer board. Correcting the equipment identity is the first purchasing decision because a board sourced under the wrong machine family cannot be evaluated against the actual oven configuration.

The HC2 board belongs to the oven control-electronics system. Board-level investigation is relevant when an HC2 control or communication problem has already been isolated to this assembly, but not every oven alarm or temperature problem should be blamed on 589010. Heller electrical documentation shows separate PLC I/O, communication and temperature-control modules within the same control architecture.

Heller 589010 HC2 Board Specifications

Part Number 589010 / H-589010-HC2
Manufacturer Heller Industries
Part Type HC2 Controller Board
Term Note HC2 is the Heller controller-board/platform designation used in the oven control system
Equipment Type Heller reflow oven control system
Related P/N 689010 – Heller directs this reference to use P/N 589010
Common Identity Error Incorrectly cataloguing 589010 as an ASM DEK printer controller
Core Matching Point Original board label, oven model and serial information, HC2 revision, connector layout and installed configuration

If a controller-board fault has been correctly isolated, replacing 589010 keeps the repair at board level instead of expanding immediately to the complete oven control system. The opposite is also important: a temperature alarm by itself is not enough evidence to replace the HC2 board because temperature-control modules and other control elements are separately identified in the Heller electrical system.

Installing the wrong controller revision or a board from an unrelated machine configuration can leave the oven control problem unresolved. On a production reflow line, that means restart is delayed and downstream PCB production cannot resume normally until the control system is restored.

For replacement verification, provide the oven model and serial number together with clear photos of the existing 589010 label, connectors and both sides of the board. These details allow the HC2 controller configuration to be matched against the actual Heller oven before quotation or replacement.
