When several feeders or related feeder-table functions stop responding, the complete X-FCU should not be replaced immediately. Service work should first separate the FCU itself from its power supply, CAN communication path, connected feeder hardware and peripheral functions. However, the installed machine configuration should still be reviewed when moving from V2 to V3 because the later X-FCU uses configuration settings for feeder-table and related machine functions.

For factories maintaining an existing 03096377, the first decision is therefore whether the original V2 unit should be repaired or whether the machine is being moved to the documented V3 successor. A repair can preserve the installed V2 configuration when the fault is isolated to the existing FCU, while a successor replacement should be handled as a machine-configuration service decision rather than as an arbitrary board swap.
