ASM SIPLACE 03040460-01 Vision Board D-Series Complete

ASM SIPLACE 03040460-01 complete Vision Board for D-Series machines. Distinguish it from the 03040316 video multiplexer when isolating a board-level vision fault.

ASM SIPLACE 03040460-01 is the complete Vision Board used in the D-Series machine platform. It belongs to the machine vision electronics and should be treated as a board-level repair target only after the fault has been narrowed beyond the camera, cabling and other surrounding vision components.

The most important selection boundary is 03040316-01. SIPLACE parts records list 03040460-01 as the D-Series Vision Board Complete and 03040316-01 separately as the Video Multiplexer Complete. They belong to the same broader vision system but represent different electronic assemblies, so a vision-related machine fault should not be used as a reason to substitute one board for the other.

During troubleshooting, repeated vision or recognition problems can justify inspection of the vision electronics, but they do not identify 03040460-01 by themselves. Camera condition, connections and the separate video-multiplexer path should be considered before the repair is expanded to the complete Vision Board.

This repair boundary matters on a stopped D-Series machine. Replacing the wrong vision board does not restore the original fault and extends production interruption while another electronic assembly is identified and sourced. Keeping 03040460-01 and 03040316-01 separately identified in maintenance records also reduces confusion during urgent board replacement.

For the larger machine context, see the ASM SIPLACE D-Series. When 03040460-01 has already been identified as the board-level requirement, use the removed PCB label and connector layout as the primary references for supply.

If the original board is available, provide clear photos of the P/N label, both sides of the PCB and its connector arrangement together with the D-Series machine model. This allows the available Vision Board to be checked against the installed assembly rather than against a generic “vision board” description.
