ASM SIPLACE 03016831S05 is the complete nozzle magazine assembly used with the C&P20 head system. It is a magazine-level assembly, not the complete nozzle-changer station, so replacement purchasing should begin with the installed magazine label and placement-head family rather than with the generic description “SIPLACE nozzle changer.”
Head-family matching is critical. SIPLACE documentation requires the associated nozzle changer and magazines to match the placement head and warns that mixed configurations can create a head-crash risk. This is why the C&P20 03016831S05 should not be substituted with a CPP / MultiStar Type 20xx magazine such as 03066107, even though both parts perform a nozzle-storage and exchange function.
The complete magazine is also a useful repair boundary. SIPLACE maintenance documentation lists the C&P20 magazine assembly as a replaceable maintenance item. If damage, poor seating or a mechanical problem is confirmed at the magazine itself, the repair can remain at magazine level instead of immediately expanding to the complete nozzle-changer assembly. The changer base should only become part of the repair scope when inspection shows that the fault extends beyond the magazine.

For an existing C&P20 machine, the quickest way to define the repair scope is to send the 03016831 label, a clear photo of the complete magazine and the area where it seats in the changer. If the fault is confined to the magazine assembly, we can match the replacement without automatically expanding the purchase to the complete changer. Standard 03016831S05 requirements are normally available for 24–48 hour dispatch after confirmation, and urgent line-maintenance orders can be fast-tracked. Where engineering or purchasing needs a documented match, we can include the confirmed head family, P/N and assembly scope in a specification confirmation sheet.
