ASM SIPLACE 00353445 is an SDS120/2.5S1 servo amplifier used in the HF-series head-axis servo system. In documented HF configurations, 00353445-04 is assigned to the Star axis when a Collect & Place head is installed. This is an axis-specific amplifier, not a universal SIPLACE servo board that should be selected only by appearance or rack position.
The head configuration is an important matching boundary. On the SIPLACE HF platform, the same servo-board position can serve a different axis depending on whether the gantry carries a Collect & Place head or a Twin Head. For example, positions used for the Star axis with a C&P head are used for the Z axis with a Twin Head. Before ordering 00353445, confirm the complete amplifier label, machine configuration, installed head type and actual servo position.

Check the Head Configuration
The 00353445 should not be identified from the servo rack slot alone. Original HF service documentation shows different servo assignments for Collect & Place and Twin Head configurations. A position that operates the Star axis for a C&P head can serve a Z-axis function when the gantry is equipped with a Twin Head.
This makes head configuration more important than a simple visual board match. If the original label is available, use the complete 00353445 suffix together with the machine model and installed head type. If the label is incomplete, provide photos of the amplifier, servo rack and head configuration before selecting a replacement.

Before Replacing 00353445
A Star-axis problem does not by itself prove that the servo amplifier has failed. The C&P head contains a separate Star drive and rotary-position feedback system, so the amplifier should be isolated from the motor, encoder, cabling and connector path before a board-level replacement is approved.
When troubleshooting the axis, check whether the fault remains associated with the servo-control path and inspect the amplifier seating, connectors and associated head-axis cables for visible damage or poor contact. The Star drive and its rotary feedback components should also be considered when the mechanical rotation or position feedback is abnormal.
This distinction matters because replacing a functioning 00353445 will not correct a fault originating in the Star motor, wiring or feedback system. Keeping the diagnosis at component level can avoid unnecessary replacement of several high-value HF servo assemblies.
If the fault boundary is unclear, our technical team can review the amplifier label, machine model, installed head type, servo position, alarm information, board photos and machine video remotely. For other uncommon ASM components, you can also use our SMT spare parts finder.
00353445 can be supplied for HF servo-system repair requirements, with confirmed stock orders normally dispatched within 24–48 hours. For eligible board faults, exchange-repair service can also be arranged to reduce the time the machine remains without a usable amplifier. A formal specification confirmation sheet is available when purchasing teams require the part number and matching information to be confirmed before order approval.
